Staycation

We took advantage of the unusually cool weather to take the kids to Adventureland. It was the perfect day. The kids had a wonderful time on all of the rides while Scott and I enjoyed making memories.

Family Fishing Fun

We had a quiet Mother's Day weekend and took advantage of the sunshine to go fishing. I don't yet have my fishing license (that's as story for another time) but that gave me plenty opportunity to help the kids.

Jenna caught the first two fish (we think it was actually the same fish twice). I don't have any pictures because I was helping and she wouldn't hold the fish. Jacob and Scott also had some luck with the bass and bluegill.

When our usual spot went "cold", we moved across the river to a small sandbar. Jenna decided that the sand was more fun than the fish.
