Day in Dubuque

On Saturday, we all ventured to Dubuque for Scott's cousin's wedding and reception (Congrats Christopher and Melissa). While there we also visited the War Memorial to look for the brick in memory of Scott's grandpa. Cake Time

Before Jenna's party, we were looking back at Jake's approach to his finger cake. It took him nearly 20 minutes to methodically examine and "destroy" his finger cake. Jenna took a different approach...

Jenna Turns 1

We had a very nice celebration on Saturday in honor of Jenna's first birthday. She loved having everyone at her house. She didn't quite know what to do with her presents. Thankfully, big brother was there to help. On the other hand, she didn't hesitate when it came to destroying her finger cake.

Josie Jo

Josie might drive me crazy sometimes and with her newly diagnosed allergies, she is going to cost a lot more annually. But I have to give her credit for being so patient and loving with the kids. She tolerates them laying on her, tugging her ears, taking her for "walks", and invading her space (including her food bowl).

There are also rewards for having the kids around...always evident at dinner time.
