Bart's Farm

Another annual tradition in the Fall is to visit Bart's Farm (only about 5 minutes from our house). Bart's has pony rides, farm animals in a rustic barn, and the ability to pick your own pumpkins. And of course, plenty of photo opportunities.

Raw footage of Jacob bringing in a fish. Every time the boys go fishing, Jacob out-fishes the whole crew.

This was also a rare-occasion where Jenna (and mommy) got to go fishing too. Jenna hasn't been allowed to go since.

New Tree

A couple of weeks ago, we lost our only tree in a wind storm. The tree had been sun-blistered and the bugs moved in, so it wasn't healthy anyway. So yesterday, we worked as a family to take out the stump of the old tree and plant the new one. Some of us worked harder than others.

 

 

Bloomsbury Farm

Every year we make a trip to Bloomsbury Farm. They have so many fun things for the kids (mommy and daddy, too). Unfortunately, this year, we were there a for about 20 minutes and my camera died. I salvaged a couple of good shots with my phone, but you will just have to take my word that we had a great time.
