Easter in Iowa

More eggs!! Jenna was a little more distracted during this hunt because Grandma's horse, Harley, was acting up by running around, bucking, and kicking the fence. Jenna wanted to keep a close eye on him. Then by the end of the hunt he was still acting up and she thought it was funny!!

 

Easter/Birthday in Illinois

After Jenna's hair appointment, we celebrated Easter and Jacob's birthday with an egg hunt, wonderful dinner (thanks Mom), and cake...bunny cake (thanks Aunt Megan).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

First Haircut

We packed a lot into the last five days. We started our Easter weekend by carrying on a tradition with my long-time neighbor giving Jenna her first haircut. She sat a lot better than I thought she would but she also had three adults standing on their heads to entertain her.

 

We took about an inch off which actually made the back curl even more. She looks more grown up now.

 

 

Complex Sentence at 19 Months Old

Jenna pieced together her first real sentence (other than "there it is") at only 19 months old. I cannot believe how fast she is growing.

The other night I heard from the kitchen out of a sweet little mouth...

"Mom, Jo-Jo ate my cookie!"

Say What?

"I'm helping Daddy." - Jacob
"I can't hear you!" - Jenna
